Island-Made Christmas Gifts are Here!

I’ve recently been asked by off-island friends for great Christmas gift ideas for Vineyard-made products. (I wrote a novel titled A Vineyard Christmas so apparently I MUST know!) The truth is, it’s tough…there are sooo many wonderful things! If you’re looking for pottery with wonderful glazes on platters and mugs and bowls and, oh, so much more (like in this pic, which I snapped off her business card, but will give you the idea), check out Amy Nevin’s fabulous wares on her website. Amy has been an island craftsperson for over 15 years, recreating many gems from the sea in her work. She even makes her own glazes. I’d show you more photos here, but though I’ve bought several pieces, I’ve given them away as a gift. Silly me!!! Like Patricia Ann Linn (with her island-made chocolates), Amy will be at the Holiday Crafts Fair on Sat. Dec. 8th at the Edgartown Elementary School during Christmas in Edgartown.

CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!

A VINEYARD CHRISTMAS, that is. Two weeks from tomorrow is the official launch of my latest Martha’s Vineyard novel…are you ready? Make your list now and check it twice…starting with entering my CONTEST to WIN a chance to be my GUEST for a day at CHRISTMAS IN EDGARTOWN! Next on your list: October 6th…come to the EDGARTOWN LIBRARY at 3:00 p.m. where I’ll be appearing. We’ll draw the winning contest name, and, YES, refreshments will include Christmas Cookies!!! (Nope, you don’t have to be there to win…but it will be fun!!!)Vineyard Christmas
